Receipt and memorandum book kept by Samuel Dyer, 1778-1786.

Memo book used to record supplies of clothing distributed to soliders in the Virginia militia: shirts, blankets, buckles, and stocks. Also includes accounts for expenses in travelling to courts in Louisa County and Richmond, Va., as well as accounts kept with David Ross and Company and other merchants.
